Universal Credit calculator
This calculator will give you the Universal Credit figures to key into Mortgage Pro, under “Income – Other Income”. If using the Mortgage Affordability calculator these figures should be keyed under “Other annual income”.
The latest 3 months Universal Credit payment statements are required for this calculation.
Where Children in Childcare income is used, childcare costs must also be keyed under ‘Deductions’, with the matching calculator result keyed in Mortgage Pro under Household Expenditure - Other expenditure – Childcare (Monthly).
A PDF copy of the results will be required as part of the evidence to support your customers application. See Universal Credit for more information.
The Universal Credit policy is independent from other income policy, with the full value of all elements keyed.
