- Minimum 18 years
- The maximum age at the end of the mortgage term is 75 years for all residential lending
- If all or part of the mortgage is to be conducted on an interest only basis the max age is 70 or the anticipated retirement age (whichever is lower)
- If using employed or self-employed income and the applicant has less than 10 years until retirement the max age is 70 or the anticipated retirement age (whichever is lower)
- If using employed or self-employed income and the applicant has more than 10 years until retirement (with evidence of a private/company pension contribution), or if using pension income only the max age is 75 (this cap also applies to any non-earning applicants on the application)
- For joint applicants it is based on the age of the oldest customer
