Intending to reoccupy during the term
It is unacceptable to lend where there is intent for the applicants or an immediate family member (such as, but not limited to, their spouse, civil partner, parent, brother, sister, child, grandchild or grandparent) to reside at the property in the future.
Occupancy restriction
Buy-to-Let properties that are subject to an occupancy restriction will be declined.
Family occupancy
​Letting to family members (such as, but not limited to, their spouse, civil partner, parent, brother, sister, child, grandchild or grandparent) is not permitted on a new Business Buy to Let/ Consumer Buy to Let mortgage. These must be processed as a Second Home Loan.
