FOR THE USE OF MORTGAGE INTERMEDIARIES & OTHER PROFESSIONALS ONLY

TSB Rate Switch. Pre-book up to 3 months ahead of maturity.

In a market that’s seen the Bank of England base rate jump from 0.25% at the beginning of this year to 1.75% last month, it’s fair to say that many existing borrowers will be considering their options when the time comes to review their mortgage.  In view of the rising cost of living, it’s never been more important for borrowers to save money, and with a mortgage being one of their biggest financial commitments, it’s crucial that their existing mortgage product meets their needs and circumstances.

At TSB, we now offer the opportunity for existing customers to switch their mortgage up to three months before their current product matures, waiving any Early Repayment Charges.  And, following a recent system upgrade – we now give mortgage brokers the option to select the month they want their client’s mortgage to switch, ensuring that it only happens when they want it to happen, either sooner or later.

Additional Borrowing

Following our upgrade, mortgage brokers can also arrange Additional Borrowing* on behalf of their clients. Applications can be submitted as a separate transaction, on the same day as a Rate Switch.  And, all our Additional Borrowing rates have been aligned to match our Rate Switch products, ensuring that existing borrowers have consistency across their mortgage.  So, it’s never been a better time for existing customers, who’d rather not move their mortgage, to work with their broker to stay with TSB.

And remember, with a proposition built on supporting the intermediary market, we also continue to focus on delivering on five-star service.  Our Business Development Managers are committed to returning calls within three working hours and we now have regional case management teams, together with dedicated New Build and Self-Employed experts to provide focused support.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your local Business Development Manager.
