• Fees and Charges

    We like to be open and transparent, so please see below for details of the key fees associated with our mortgages. Because we also like to give our customers options, please be sure to check the details within our product range to see which fees apply to specific deals, and how they are paid.

  • We offer a free legals service provided by LMS for remortgage customers. This includes basic professional fees and standard costs only. Sometimes there may be extra client fees for work outside of the standard service such as transfer of equity or satisfying special conditions in the mortgage offer.

    Please note, if a customer chooses to remortgage using their own solicitor, TSB offers products with £300 cash back towards conveyancing fees. For more information about our products please see the latest Product Guide.

    After completion the mortgage fee cannot be refunded. It can be added to the mortgage on completion, but interest on it will be charged. If product fee is added to the loan it will be included in the affordability calculation.

    These requests are handled directly between the borrower and TSB only. A fee will be charged when a change in ownership is requested whilst a mortgage is in place.

    There is no fee for a reinspection for properties up to a value of £20 million.
